CAIRN ABOUT EARTH

Have you ever seen this before? I visited a place called Stewart Mineral Springs that is known for its healing waters.  As you walk around this place you will find these peculiar yet joyful pieces all around the land.  I knew there was some kind of significance to them as I kept seeing them randomly.  First I thought, ok, these look like markers of some kind but the more I saw them I felt a spiritual meaning.  These lil' structures are called "Cairns" that hikers can use to help point you to a trail but also, I have read that these are spiritual alters that can create sacred spaces.  The formations are created by placing all different kinds of rocks on top of one another using zen like concentration and meditative thought of intention. How lovely are these!! I feel like I want to start making my own Cairns around my house and also on hiking paths. So next time you're out and about, create your own Cairn and allow others to add their own stones on top of it. I love this outward display of connection with Earth.  The little gifts from God that we fail to appreciate.  Mother Earth and all that God has provided for us with here is to be appreciated and recognized. If you happen to see any Cairns, add your energy to it by placing a stone on top of it! Don't worry if it falls, just create a new one! :) Happy Travels! :)
